Port Arthur History Plays
Friday 3 April until Friday 10 April
The plays bring history to life, depicting and interpreting Port Arthur’s history in an engaging and entertaining way, and are ideal for the whole family.
Produced and directed by Chris Hamley, the plays run approximately 20 minutes each. Admission is included in the cost of site entry.

Performed in the Separate Prison 11.45am & 2.45pm
Please be seated early as the Prison will close 2 minutes prior to performance to enable a prompt start.

Family Fun Activities
Friday 3 April – Friday 17 April daily
Bring the kids for some holiday fun and visit the Education Centre to try your hand at traditional crafts, design work and trades. Make your own peg doll or replica convict brick. Learn about early animation by assembling a fantascope or design and create your own convict love token. Challenge your friends and family to a game of quoits, croquet or knuckle bones.
Activities are offered in two sessions each day – 12-1:30pm and 2-3pm. Please check the information board downstairs in the Visitor Centre for today’s activities.
