China UnionPay is the most popular bank debit card in China and across much of South East Asia. The Port Arthur Historic Sites are now able to accept payment via China UnionPay at our sales points, including Ticketing, Gift Shop, Cafes and Bistro, and at the Cascades Female Factory.
We also accept cash payment in Australian dollars, most major credit cards, EFTPOS, travellers cheques and there is an Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) located in the Port Arthur Visitor Centre.
