Port Arthur Historic Site Management Authority (PAHSMA) Community Advisory Committee (CAC)
On 11 November 2018, the 100th Anniversary of the end of World War 1,
the final replacement tree will be planted in the Port Arthur Soldiers
Memorial Avenue.
The PAHSMA CAC are planning a short ceremony to acknowledge those
Peninsula Residents who are commemorated in the Avenue or who lost their
lives or participated in a military conflict involving Australian
participation.
CAC would like to hear from anyone who may have a military
connection or a family member from WW1 recognised by a planted tree in
the Port Arthur Memorial Avenue.
